Get Found

PILLAR 1 OF 4

When someone searches for what you do, do they find you. Or your competitor.

Search never went away. It multiplied. A search bar, a maps app, and now an AI assistant — all asking the same question about your business, all at the same time.

There’s a new front door standing next to the old one.

Your customers still Google you. They still check a maps app. None of that stopped.

More of them are also asking an AI assistant the same question first — a second front door standing next to the first, opening into the same business. If your name isn’t on it, a competitor’s is.

Google says local search comes down to three things: how relevant you are, how close you are, and how well-known and trusted you look based on what’s public about you. AI-powered search is giving customers new ways to discover and evaluate local businesses. That makes clear, consistent business information more important to get right — not less.

Nobody, including us, can promise a specific spot on a list Google controls. The businesses with the best odds are the ones telling one clean, consistent story everywhere.

45%

of consumers are already using AI to find local businesses.

Up from 6% one year earlier.

63%

of consumers who use AI for local business recommendations trust those recommendations.

This isn’t a fringe behavior anymore. It’s fast becoming a normal one.

Showing up starts with getting the basics right — everywhere at once.

Three things move the needle:

  • Your name, address, and phone number should be accurate and consistent wherever customers may find your business. Old or conflicting information can create confusion and make it harder for people to know which information is current.
  • Your website actually describes what you do, in plain language a person (or an AI) can understand at a glance.
  • Your Google Business Profile is complete and current.

Get those three right and your odds of being surfaced accurately go up. That’s not a ranking guarantee — nobody can promise you a spot on a list they don’t control. What we can do is make sure your business is telling the same, complete, accurate story everywhere a customer, or an AI, might go looking.

Questions we hear before anyone books anything.

We already show up on Google. Why do we need this.

You might. This isn’t about replacing what’s working — it’s about the second front door that opened next to Google. An AI assistant pulls from different signals than a search results page does. Showing up in one doesn’t guarantee showing up in the other.

This sounds like SEO. I’ve been burned by an SEO company before.

We get it. This isn’t a promise to rank you higher or land you on page one of anything. We’re not selling rankings. We’re making sure the basic facts about your business are accurate and consistent wherever customers may find you.

Are you just going to tell me my score is bad so you can sell me something.

There’s no score. We’ll tell you plainly what we find — good or not — and you can do whatever you want with that information, including nothing.

How is this different from what my website guy already does.

It might not need to be different — your website guy may already have this covered. This check tells you, specifically, instead of guessing.

Getting found is only half the battle.

Once a customer finds you, the next question is simple: what happens when they call and nobody can answer?
